able to Disable or Remove stock dialier?

I put in a third party dialer... and when my phone rings... the screen switches back and forth from the stock dialier to the 3rd party dialer..every second while the phone is ringing.

I would like to prevent the stock dialer from launching... maybe I would rename a regedit or file?

Re: able to Disable or Remove stock dialier?

You can try this. Normally it will disable the HTC phone dialer and enable the WinMo dialer. I am not sure if the WinMo dialer will conflict with your 3rd party one, but worth a shot. Good luck.

HKLM/Security/Phone/PhoneSkin
"Enabled" change to "0" from "1"

Re: able to Disable or Remove stock dialier?

small problem now. I disabled dialer & using winmo dialer. it will not answer calls. caller id pops up but when I hit answer it just sits there. any help!?

I really want to use a different dialer like Idialer but not sure how to make it the default.
