Touch Pro: when you get a text message

and you have the "display on screen" checked

Does a picture (if u have one for the contact) come up along with the text message? I declare i remember my texts doing that for people who i have pics with, but now i get notifications with just the text message and no pic.

Is there an on/off feature im missing to have the contacts pic show up with the text message?

Using cooked rom but used to work on many different cooked roms i believe

It doesn't come up for text messages but it does for MMS messages. However, I use threaded texts so maybe thats why?

yeh i used threaded but hmm ok i thought it worked for threaded i could b wrong

I think the individual txts show up with the contact picture however when you open the conversation it will not

well i know it never shows in converstation, but coulda sworn it came up with the text message that comes across the screen

Mine shows a picture on receipt of a text message, but I'm using Photo Contacts Pro and I think it's a function of that software, not the base phone software. Actually kinda sucks because the picture shows on the right side of the window the message pops up in, and covers part of the text of the message.

ahahhhhhhhh, i do remember when using photo contacts the right part got truncated on incoming next notifications
maybe thats where i saw it at
