Malfunction: phone keypad

Please help. When I enter numbers on the keypad, it thinks I am entering a numerical search string - but not from the total list of contacts - and only recognizes numbers from the list of recent calls. So after three or four numbers being entered, I get the message "no matches:..." I thought the problem might be the black htc dialer, so I removed that. Still same problem. I have had Yay 4 Juggs Rom on the phone for a some time now and it has not been a problem.

Re: Malfunction: phone keypad

Wanted to add that I can make calls if I go through my contacts and call from there. The problem seems to be with calling from the dialer. Three or four numbers and then the message in the screenshot above.

That's what I did. My Touch Pro won't hard reset according to the instructions of pressing the volume down and the center d-pad and the reset button. I had to do the "clear storage" option in settings. Everything is back to normal. Thanks.

Re: Malfunction: phone keypad

I chose the "clear storage" option and everything was fixed. Just took a little time to reload all of my downloads, etc. Thanks everyone.
