Transferring data from one storage card to another

I am buying a larger storage card after using the 1 gb one that came with the device. How do I go about transferring the data over to the new card? Can I simply put the data on my computer's desktop and then put it on the new card?

Thanks.

establish a connection with your pc first(actve sync for windows xp,windows mobile device center for vista)and copy your files.when you insert your new card,re-connect with your pc and it should auto load all your stuff.and please use the thanx button if it helps.good luck soldier!

just get an adapter and copy the data from your old SD card to you PC and then change the card and copy it back!!!

this will work on most things, but if you have anything with a codeac(like purchased music),you have to establish a connection with your pc.
