Text Messages Notifcations Bug?
 

So my problem is about Incoming Text Messaging notifcations.

When you go to settings -> sounds & notifications -> notifications.

Pull down Event menu, and select ....Messaging : New test message.

When I click on the box, "display message on screen."

It doesn't stay like that. I always have to change it back either when I charge my phone using my labtop or after several text messages.

I don't get it and its really annoying. Please help!

I am having the same issue. I just randomly turns off the "display on screen" option. I am running the stock ROM and its really annoying. At first I thought that it was a setting on my SPB phone suite, but for notification types on SMS is set to unchanged on all my profiles. Are you using any profile switching applications?

No I'm not doing profile switching. My phone is pretty much just in stock condition. It just randomly turns off the feature. So strange =\.

I HATE that it does this. I think it resets after every soft reset, not sure though.

I'm glad you posted this. I've been having the same problem. I've had the phone for only a week and have had to turn the option on randomly like 4 or 5x now. It doesn't happen after soft resets that I can tell. It just happens randomly. Was going to take mine phone back, but I see it's a common issue now.

Wait, so is this something that doesn't happen on all the TPs? Is this at all related to not having an alarm notification box? I HATE that I have to click the little bell at the top to dismiss my alarms.

at first i used to have the msg show on screen, but not anymore haha. I only know i have a txt msg because of spb!
