Re: HTC Touch Pro - broken after 5 days.
I have to be honest, I don't even know what you're talking about. I pull my stylus out all the time and i've dropped my phone on the cement numerous times and nothing has broken except the chipped chrome on my phone. I feel the stylus hole is very sturdy. I believe it must just be your phone.

Re: HTC Touch Pro - broken after 5 days.
u realize the stylus gets sucked up by the magnet, so u prob broke it by getting a lil too excited and jamming it up there even tho it's not necessary at all.
sorry, but its a $600 phone, treat it like one. |

Re: HTC Touch Pro - broken after 5 days.
Sorry your phone broke dude. I have read these forums since the TP came out and only read a few posts about this problem. I use my stylus a lot and have not had any problems. Time will tell how it holds up.....

Re: HTC Touch Pro - broken after 5 days.
All I can say is... "You'll see"
Parts like that have MTBF under normal wear/tear. Maybe I jammed, maybe it was defective. If I jammed it, it was because poor design/placement of the part led to the failure. A user should not be able to break something like that in under a week. It might take 2000 insertions before yours breaks... but remember this thread. |

Re: HTC Touch Pro - broken after 5 days.
The problem is the sensor/plastic lever is right there where you would be poking around to find the hole -- take a look and see for yourself. They should have put it at the end of the hole, or in the middle even. Dumb.
If nothing else, view this thread as a warning to be extra careful when inserting your stylus. |
