is anyone else's weather not working? i thought it was mine, but i get internet fine and i read on xda back in october there was a serverside issue

my weather is down too. I thought that it was a problem with my rom but looks like the servers are down again. Also I went to the server link that I got from my registry on my PC and it said page cannot be displayed connection error.

okay good i was LIKE WTF! lol thanks... thats nice to know... cuz my status doesnt great out the data or anything so i was like it has to be the server

Same here. I had done some regedits and thought that it had screwed something up. Breathing easier after seeing this.

Glad it's not just me, but yes, I am getting a connection error on weather updates too. Like you, the browser works fine, so I suspect it's an issue with the weather data server.

my weather is not working as well but my girlfriend has the stock rom and hers is working just fine

I have Juicy 4.5 and it does not work today.

I am running MighyROM 3.9 and I am getting a connection error when weather tries to update.

UPDATE: Connection fails with both Wi-Fi and EV data connections.

Mine wasn't working, (stock ROM), but I did a soft reset and now I'm back in business ....

Running Mighy 3.9, pulled the battery and put it back in (is that considered a soft reset?), but still get connection error.

i'm running dreams .7 rom and its not working, tried soft resetting multiple times and still no go

This is a repeat of the same issue back on 10-25-2008. Here is the thread:

Note that I just tried the weather database editor refered to in the thread and it fails because the weather database is now write-protected.

Haven't tried the registery hack described...will just wait for accuweather to correct it on their end.

Tried the hack and it didn't work...apparently http://weather.not2advanced.com/htc is no longer running.

Stock ROM here, no go for me, last updated 14 hours ago and that's where it is stuck. Soft reset returned nothing, not about to do a hard reset for weather to work :(

You have to use the modified cab, the other ones don't work.

not2advanced/htcweather works, I've been using it all along.

OK, weather is working again....just did an update without any reset required.

anyone know if this cab works for the removed juicy rom?

I love the ROM. I considered taking the phone back before I found it but I'd love to get weather working too for the complete package.

Anyone been successful getting weather to work on that one? reg edits? cabs?

I'm open for what works. finally got phonealarm working so now weather is my latest challenge.

I wish we could choose in 30 minute increments for the weather app to update.........I always have to hit "update". When I wake up in the morning and turn on the display, it will say something like 8 hours since last update.
