What do you need for manual activation?
I sold a used diamond on ebay and the guy who bought it was unable to automatically activate via the Telus auto activation number. Uncertain why, but he couldn’t sort it out with tech supppr… so I was going to walk him through editing the ##3282# profile registry, yet I am uncertain with what fields he needs to get info for from TELUS tech support? ( I know his unlock code)

I know I need the phone number, what else?

if telus works anything like sprint...you need the MSL (master subsidy lock) code, the MDN(phone number) and the MSID to program it. Once it is programmed, a data profile update from the phone should pull down the proper data parameters.

they need your esn on file... you need the mdn and msid to program into your phone... i dunno how their data works though, if its the same with sprint or not.

is your diamond telus? if not, then that's why.
