Save/ send Voicemail Password?

On the 6700 I was able to save my voicemail password with by entering the number then a w and then the password. (xxx)xxx-xxxx w xxxxx. As I recall, I then hit the send key to send the password digits. On my Treo 700wx, it had the option of saving the password and then entering it once the call was in place. Anyone find a way to save and send the password for voicemail on the TP?

Re: Save/ send Voicemail Password?

you can set it as to not ask for the password as long as you are calling from your phone, just a thought, but if you already know that and you want it that specific way, then hope someone will come up with better answer.

Re: Save/ send Voicemail Password?

instead of having it just call your own mobile number, set it like this:

(123)1234567p1234#

your mobile number, then add the P which is pause (just add p from the keyboard), then your 4 digit PIN followed by #

enjoy

Re: Save/ send Voicemail Password?

P didn't work -- sent the digits too quickly. "w" does work. You will then need to press the hard button for dialing and it sends. I'm happy now.

Re: Save/ send Voicemail Password?

You can also add more p's for more pauses, I think it is 2 seconds of pause per p.

Re: Save/ send Voicemail Password?

make sure it is a lower case "p", NOT a upper case "P". Same with "w", which requires you to press the hard call button again to enter your code. "p" is a pause, I guess "w" is wait.

Add 2 p's in Phone Options:

for VZW: *86pp1234#
