Stock rom speed diff. between Diamond and Pro

Okay I just need a quick opinion I searched and it seems like most people when they talk about speed differences between the Diamond and Pro refer to cooked versions of the phones. I have the Diamond with Juicy's latest and like it. I'm considering upgrading to the pro, and giving the Diamond to my GF, or giving her the pro and keeping my Diamond. I would give her the stock rom on either phone so I was wondering which phone stock runs smoother. I am really considering upgrading to the pro not for the keyboard and looks so much, but really for the TV out feature (PS - can a video cable from the CDMA version of the TP be used on the US version?). So far it seems like the Diamond is faster on stock rom from what I've read but I figured I'd ask.
