TPro Heat Question

I've read the faq and the essentials, and i still dont know how hot the tp is supposed to get. right now, running gps and opera, it feels quite hot, to give an analogy, about a little hotter than a hand warmer... this is my first ppc and other than the heat, I'm lovin' this phone. The point: how hot does your own touch pro get//supposed to get?

OMG dude....run, it will explode in 30 seconds or melt like a hershey bar in the microwave!!!

J/K! There's no suppossed way to gauge the TP. Some phone's get hotter than others and it depends on how many and what programs you are running. Running gps and opera at the same time will in fact make it run hot. Some programs make it so hot so you can cook mini burgers on the back and some you'll never notice any heat. My TP only gets warm (kinda like a hand warmer) at times also but it is normal and nothing to worry about.

my old flip phones used to get so hot I could not hold them next to my face during a call, never had that kind of heat on a wm device

you may want to read the thread regarding radios. Some of the radio roms will help with heat issues but it depends on the device and carrier. check this out:
