Streaming Sirius on Orb

I am attempting to stream Sirius to my VZ TP, I downloaded orb 2.0 and uSirius on my PC. When I try to access the stream on my TP, it opens stream.asx, but windows media player says Cannot perform action at this time. I am able to stream on my PC. Are there any setting I should change? Any ideas how to get past this?

Re: Streaming Sirius on Orb

a better option than orb (IMO) is one of the xm/sirius streaming apps... they work great, search for C-ApiSRO or StarPlayr

I know this is not a direct solution to your problem but it seems to me that using orb just adds another step in the streaming process. I would recommend using C-ApiSRO, a nice little client that pulls directly from the XM-Sirius online feeds. Just an idea, as for your issue, hope somebody much smarter then I can solve it for you

Re: Streaming Sirius on Orb

Thanks! I will give those a try. Have those been confirmed to work for Verizon's TP?

I see no reason why they shouldn't, it worked fine on my Sprint TP running on vzw. They've the same device, just a couple mods unrelated to the main operating system or internet connection. If you have any issues with the program though, let us know!

P.S. Sirius can take a while to start streaming a channel once it's selected. This is a known issue, not an issue with the TP, XM streams right away.

Re: Streaming Sirius on Orb

+1 for C-ApiSRO

I use it whenever I'm in the office to listen to Sirius, it's awesome.
