Couple Misc Fixes I'm Looking For...
1 - Is there a way to have the day in the date above the time? I've seen a couple screen shots where people have the date set up like: DAY | MONTH & # | YEAR. How do I do that?
2 - Is there a way to smooth the "flicking" of the programs when you click 'All Programs' from the 'Programs' TF3D tab? As it stands, the flicking is smooth enough, but sometimes it scrolls so fast the icons have hard time keeping up and as a result there is a blank spot next to the program names. Would this be a Glyph Cache edit? Pagepool? 3 - Another smoothness/scrolling issue is in the programs window itself. If you click the start menu and then select programs, when you drag the side scroll bar down it's very shaky and choppy. Is this a driver issue? Would installing these drivers be better than stock Alltel TP drivers (build day 10th or 14th of November... don't remember off hand). 4 - I *LOVE* the 'TouchPal' touchscreen keyboard. So much, in fact, that for a solid couple hours after installing it I briefly considered trading my TP in for a Diamond, it works THAT well. Now that I'm over it and realize a keyboard is a keyboard is a keyboard and it just can't be beat (or replaced) when you're using emulators and when posting of forums/blogs/the internet in general and I'm sticking with my Touch Pro My only problem with it is that there's this orange 'MORE' button that pops up when I'm typing (which isn't a major issue) and on occasion, TouchPal completely freezes up and I can't type for 4-5 seconds. I'm wondering if anyone has a fix for this? I know it's not an extremely widely used program, but has anyone figured out how to disable the MORE button and/or get rid of that annoying lag? Thanks for all the support over the years of PPC'ing. This board is one of the highest quality boards on the net and the 'Thank You' feature is one I'm using almost daily Thanks again boys! |

Also, to clarify, I have absolutely no issues with screen sensitivity. It's the smoothness of the "flicking" in the 'All Programs' section of the TF3D tab. It's like a graphical/driver issue rather than a sensitivity one. Thanks again for all the help and Happy New Year! |

Re: Couple Misc Fixes I'm Looking For...
The whole programs list thing [TF3D and Start Menu] has to do with WM's ****ty way of handling icons. Instead of loading them into memory, it waits to read each icon individually as it comes, resulting in CHOPPY scrolling.
