Very very annoying problem

Ok so whenever i'm on a call on my bluetooth headset or speakerphone and i get a new text message, the ringer for the text message goes off in my bluetooth headset or over speaker phone....highly annoying, anyway to make it not play the ringer for texts while i'm on a call??? please help

Not happening here man, did you check your Voice command setting and notifications? My VM ist set to announce over BT only but it doesnt interfer with phone calls . And under notification, new text mess is set to play" voicebeep". Try it

i did notice that it started after i enabled voice command, but i disabled voice command and it still does it now

Meant Voice Command,.....VC. just duplicate my settings,soft reset (dont have to really but just to clear any conflict), do you have anything installed to manage notifications or announce them...?

go to settings/sounds/notifications and events select text and click silent or vibrate.im responding from my tp so i will check again and edit but you will find it in settings/sounds.

select text and click silent or vibrate...i dont see that part...i still want the ringer for my text message, i just dont want to hear it in my earpiece when i'm on a call
