thats not what i'm trying to accomplish...i want the ringer to sound when i'm not on a call, the problem is, while i'm talking to a person on the phone and a text comes through, the ringer for my text sounds over my earpiece...while i'm on a call, very annoying to be talking to someone then music starts playing in your ear

events is uncheck, if i uncheck notifications yes it fixes the problem with my earpiece...but now i have no ringer for text messages when i'm not on a call...so that fix is no good..thanks though, trust me i'm trying everything...i should also say i have a custom wav file as my ringer for text messages...and somehow that wav file shows up under:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Phone \Wave

and i'm not sure if its suppose to or not

That key should reflect whatever tone you've set for notifications.

Re: Very very annoying problem

I have the Touch Pro and I only hear message when I am not on a call Recheck settings. Setting--Personal--VVoice Command--Contacts--Highlight Announce notifications using bluetooth only and Only during free time. and I always soft reset after changes Don't think you have to but seems to help changes take place. I also have voice command enabled but I have no problems
