Sms notification for picturemail?

Anyone know if it is possible to get a sms message instead of using the picturmail app? I use SMMS to send but would like to receive via sms with the link like it used to before the touch pro/diamond.

I did, but still no sms received. Does anyone know if there is a registry setting that controls this? I actually am using Juggalos rom which does not have picturemail installed at all. When I sent a test pic I can see the screen light up as if I will get a text, but it does not come through.

I'm sorry but I have to ask, why would you rather have the SMS? personally I use Skyfire, and in the past (on my touch) the links would not open properly in skyfire.
