Re: Gyrator

Go to Menu >> Events and tell me what are your event listings? You should have a single Rotate event and make sure this is Gyrator 2 you have installed. Right? Oh and FYI, did you test the screen rotation with file explorer or any other apps? Cause TF3D, and other pre-installed apps from HTC may not rotate.

Re: Gyrator

Hmm... try testing with File Explorer first and see what happens...
AND

In the event list, Tap & Hold Rotate and click Edit Event...
Make sure the following is set to:

Application: *
Orientation: all checked
Stylus: none checked
Actions: Rotate Screen is checked
Advanced: no settings set

If that doesn't work, try promoting the Rotate event by Tap & Hold >> Promote...

Let me know how that works.

Re: Gyrator

TBH, I think that it is better to set only the programs you want to rotate, there is no need to rotate some programs. Also, I find no need in having the screen flip upside down...just my .02 dollars.

When you have gyrator open, does it show the black screen with the four corners with text? The top right corner should display the orientation detected. OOH And when you Tap & Hold Rotation, make sure the special menu has Orientation checked.

Otherwise, try reinstalling???

Same here... I found gyrator to be useful for only a few applications like my music app, sprint navigator and stuff like that. Plus I programmed the stylus to do a the lightsaber on and off wave files when I pull out the stylus HAHA stupid I know!

Re: Gyrator

I've reinstalled a few times, soft reset between each. When G is open, laying flat it shows Face_Up. When lifted, no matter which direction it shows portrait.
Is there a detailed install and setting set up some where on here? This is one app I really want to get working on here.
