Picture Mail Outage?

Anyone else stop receiving picture mail to their phone in the last few hours? They're still showing up on the website, but all of the sudden (this afternoon/evening) I am no longer getting them on my phone (notifications or the messages themselves).

lol... yeah, I know. I have issues with sending almost 100% of the time (use sMMS for that) but usually receiving is pretty reliable for me.

Re: Picture Mail Outage?

I am still receiving the notification message here.

It could be in your local area. Or maybe try a soft reset.

Do you use the Sprint Picture Mail app?

Yeah, maybe it's an area thing... definitely already reset and yes I'm using the sprint app (even tried installing it). I'll give it a day and see what happens. I'm in the Philadelphia area.

Re: Picture Mail Outage?

I may not be a good source since I've only had the phone a couple of days. The only problem I am having is that picmail seems to stay in the Drafts folder, there is none in the sent folder but 1 person is consistently getting the mail, but not everybody

Re: Picture Mail Outage?

Here's an easy way to test:

Follow this link: http://www.pixdrop.com/
Then just choose a picture from your computer to send to your phone number. I received the picture mail within 8 minutes.

Make sure it's not too big. I found this info in another thread:

Re: Picture Mail Outage?

Could have just been a network issue. I had several issues with Text Messaging this morning since it was Christmas. I always have issues on holidays or major television events (i.e. the Superbowl).

I wasn't able to connect my lappy to AT&T broadband at all today either. AT&T blows...I should just buy a Sprint card and charge my company for the usage.
