battery booster

I'm ABOUT to get the Touch Pro (within a matter of days probably).

The ONE thing that I'm DREADING of it is its battery life.

I'm not too hot AT ALL on the extended battery, because this device doesn't need to be anymore thicker than it already is.

So I found this thing called the 'Touch Pro AA Battery Booster':

http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI...y+Booster.html

I did a search on PPCGeeks and didn't find it. So has anyone had any experience with it? Does anybody know anything about it? It seems like a pretty good idea. Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: battery booster

Depending on your use, battery life may not be a big deal. I can make mine stretch nearly 2 days with some discipline. Try it first.

Re: battery booster

That's pretty cool. I used one like it on my Mogul one weekend. Worked fine. But, if you apply the Battery Registry hack, you should be fine. I am a heavy user from 7am to 7p, and there is usually juice when I put it on the charge at night.

Re: battery booster

I maintain a BUG OUT bag for myself and electronics in the event of power loss, weather etc.. that little charger would actually be a good idea to add to one. Thanks

Re: battery booster

Personally I'd get a hand-crank charger for emergencies. It would be a bit more feasible for a disaster.

But that AA backup looks pretty awesome for the times you need a few hours of juice

Or make your own (if you're good at following instructions, etc.):

http://www.instructables.com/id/Buil...toids-Battery/

It's fun. Plus if you do it with AAA batteries instead, you'll have room for mints!
