Gps Issues

I am currently running a sprint tp with verizon as my carrier. My ROM is the verizon leaked ROM stock with no changes. My location is set to on and my gps is set to 4800 baud on COM4. I was able to get a pretty quick lock on my GPS through google maps and it worked flawlessly on the road. Now when I try to use GPS I get the error "No GPS receiver was found...". I have made no changes to my phone and am beyond clueless at this point. Any ideas?

Strange...same thing for me all day yesterday (Tuesday). It was being fickle on Monday, one second it would work, then an hour it would stop. I had to fiddle around with the settings to get it started. However, now it just stopped working. =(

I was hoping someone knows a fix. At the moment its just 'meh' for me since I don't use GPS that much, but having a working GPS would be nice. =)

I am running the Verizon's stock rom too. Any possible solutions or things to try would be great. I too am new at this PPC stuff, and I am trying to catch up with every one as quick as I can. =\

That happend to me, yesterday morning I installed it, worked great. Last night before bed, i tried it again and had that problm. I ran the htc program to select port and test and then it worked. This morning it was on. we'll see.

FWIW, I have a subscription to VZWNav, and it hasn't been working well for the last two days either. Taking a VERY long time to fix.

Haven't had time to play with Google Maps or Live in the last two days -- they were working well the other day -- but I'll check...
