i have jb2 with TP but my jb2 doesnt suffer from that problem.

Try using channel 1 and or 4 with bluetooth compatibility on to see if that helps. Though i think probllem is bad bluetooth chip..
I just got a replacement TP on Tuesday. This one has bluetooth issues. I have a laptop, a Motorola T505 car kit, and a Motorola H700 headset that worked flawlessly with my first TP. With the new replacement, the bluetooth connection drops out even if the phone and device are right next to each other. The new one has a build date of 12/10 with a ROM date of 11/11/08. My first phone had a build date in October and the bluetooth worked extremely well. To the OP, what is your build date? I wonder if there is a batch of bad bluetooth chips in some of the phones or if I am the only unlucky one. They are going to replace my phone but they are out of stock and don't know when they will get any in.

Re: Jawbone or TP issue?

*bumping this one back from the dead*

I have the *SAME* issue where I also have a Jawbone and at times can get a static like sound that comes and goes. How did the original poster resolve this? It's a pretty annoying issue.
