disable scroll wheel on messaging?

This is annoying me when I'm looking at text messages or emails and I keep changing the zoom by rotating the wheel on accident, is there anyway to disable the scrool wheel for messaging only?

Wow thats so weird, i never knew that the zoom works in emails and sms until you mentioned it. Well obviously i have never encountered this problem.

That must mean you are scrolling with the d-pad? Why not use the screen, its touch screen for a reason

Re: disable scroll wheel on messaging?

i use the d-pad for t9 entry, and i always end up zooming and its annoying. i'd also like to disable this... or at least make it scroll instead of zoom. the zooming is retarded. if i wanted the text bigger, i would make it bigger in the settings.
