Re: TEMP. Power Solutions for the Pro- What do you think?
I've been using SensorLock the last couple days and I really like it. Roll the phone one way in your hand and it locks, roll it the other way and it unlocks. Works very sweet, but... this whole conversation makes me think about another problem I've been having -- really crappy battery life the last couple days (way worse than normal crappy). I thought it was because I installed htchome2, decided I didn't like it that much and uninstalled it. But even after I uninstalled it I had to do regedits to get my hard keys to stop vibrating upon press. I thought that maybe htchome2 had hijacked some other registry settings and that was causing my problem. But now... maybe it's SensorLock. It could be that it causes batter drain like S2U2.

Re: TEMP. Power Solutions for the Pro- What do you think?
I use Pocket Shield as my locking application (although it's not freeware).
As for battery backup I use this: http://www.amazon.com/Lenmar-Univers...9998980&sr=1-2 It worked great with my iPod Touch and haven't really needed to use it with my Touch Pro yet but I'm pretty sure I can get a few charges out of it (it's nice and thin too, and charges via Mini USB) |

Re: TEMP. Power Solutions for the Pro- What do you think?
Doesn't seem to be a memory hog - didn't notice anything different with my memory percent before and after installation. But if it's the reason behind my battery problem, then it's got to go.
I just realized that there was something else that I added when my battery life went south - Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3. I had installed it and made a bunch of changes. I just reset all those changes and uninstalled it (seems to be kind of redundant with Diamond Tweak anyway). I'll see if that makes a difference with my battery. If not, then I'll uninstall the SensorLock and see if that helps. If that doesn't do it, then it's got to be some left over registry change from htchome2. |

Hey kilen sensor lock is great and just what I thought htc should have used. Now back to the op I truely belive that the true battery culprit is touch flow 3d. Try disabling it and see for yourself.

I have noticed more battery drain with S2U2 now that you mention it.

There's a fix for s2u2 draining battery. Turn keyboard hook off, and turn safe mode on. Also make sure the setting that says don't suspend power is off.
