FM radio on Alltel Touch Pro, is it crippled?

I was reading that the HTC Touch Pro site lists the touch pro as having a radio. Anyone know if it disabled on alltel touch pro?

you cant just look at the touch pro you have to make sure you are looking at htc's usa site and then the cdma version specific to alltel but short answer yes FM does not work for any cdma touch pro currently.

Does the FM radia not work because its not there or just disabled? I would love to have radio function on my phone too I know.

read around the boards a lil bit, there is many people here working on the fm radio, if it is possible to make it work they will get it done =)

ok, ur right, i see on the xda forums some guys have been able to get it to work, but they have to use a cooked rom. hoping someone will find a way to enable it without a cooked rom.

FM radio was not mentioned on the ALLTEL specification site, but neither was the wifi.

Does not work with cooked ROM on CDMA. It is disabled, or not connected.
