Does Fuze have IR?

I was in an AT&T store today and I stopped to look at the Fuze (and compare it to my Verizon TP). I noticed on the description panel next to the device it listed "IR" as being one of its connectivity options. Does the Fuze really have IR? I examined the device closely, but I couldn't find an IR window?

I'd love to find out that these devices do have IR and I've somehow overlooked it. I noticed that my VZW TP has the "beam my contact" program, but I can't imagine why...

The Beam program is like IR. You can BEAM your contact info or programs to another TP/diamond or another phone that has that feature.

Most likely its a blue tooth "beam" I've used it messing around with a friend and had to have blue tooth enabled

lol, like I said, It's like IR......yeah I apologize, I did forget to mention it's bluetooth. When I said other phones that have that feature, I meant bluetooth. I have beamed pictures to my wife's sanyo 8400 and the bluetooth had to be enabled for it to work. I will mention that I DID have to add her phone to my bluetooth list to achieve it.

It's too bad these phones don't have IR. (I got hopeful that somehow I'd missed something when I saw AT&T's description.)

I used my 6700 as a remote for my TV, etc., so I'm bummed not to have this app.

Oh, well...

I am a real estate broker, and the program to open lockboxes is available for WinMo and Palm. Too bad that HTC missed the mark on this one realtors will be less apt to buy a phone without infrared.

I returned the phone because of heat, but the infrared was a consideration also.
