No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

So when I send an email my signature is inside the email and the formatting looks correct when I send it. However, once I send it the recipient's email has no paragraph formatting. For instance, I send the following:

I send:

(insert message here)
Ryan Gruhn
Cell: 814.769.6092
MSN: ryangruhn@hotmail.com
AIM & Yahoo & ICQ: RyanGruhn
http://www.ryangruhn.com/
361 West Whitehall Rd.
State College, PA 16801

and they recieve this:

Ryan Gruhn Cell: 814.769.6092 MSN: ryangruhn@hotmail.com AIM & Yahoo & ICQ: RyanGruhn http://www.ryangruhn.com/ 361 West Whitehall Rd. State College, PA 16801

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

I'll assume you're referring to the Messaging app. I have the same prob, tho only when replying/forwarding. If I'm the one creating the thread, the recipient receives the email with all paragraph separations, exactly as I see it before sending. But when I reply or forward, the email they receive is stripped of all paragraph separations, jumbling everything together. Quite frustratiing, but I've yet to find a way around this, tho admittedly, I haven't done extensive searching on the issue.

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

Wow,

That's a pretty big bug. I thought our messaging was supposed to be able to handel HTML? I'd assume rich text and regular text would be nothing! Anyone out there have a solution?

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

Try sending your signature to yourself from Outlook or Webmail or whatever you use on your computer.

Synchronize your mail to your TP and then open the E-Mail with the signature you just sent yourself.

Copy the signature from your E-Mail into your signature dialog box option on the TP.

Try that...

No luck. I think if we could make it so the signature is HTML it would be ready to go. Thoughts?

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

I searched around but did not find any solution to this. Do we have a fix for forward/reply emails in regards to formatting. When i reply to an email, the "Sent from my Windows MobileĀ® phone." gets put right behind my last sentence. line spaces between them.. (looks really dumb).. Any help? Thanks!

Not "Sent from my Windows MobileĀ® phone." ..

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

So, i'm not having this issue at all, not with new mails or with forwards/replys.

I'm wondering, could it be whatever mail client you are using to read the emails sent from the phone stripping the formatting?

Or even your mail server stripping it out?

I have 1 Exchange account, 3 IMAP4 accounts and a Gmail account all working as they should in regards to formatting the sigs.

Re: No Paragraph Format in Sent Emails

I also do not have this problem, though I only check my emails on PC using Outlook 2007. I know some of the other email clients don't handle foramtting the same way and that could be the issue.
