GPS quick opinion?

Should I use Live Search the new version Google maps, and I would like to use Navigation also.

I found Live search easi Proer for like local features movies etc. But the gps a little mixed.

Thanks for any opinions out there, its been 4 days now wit h my new Touch Pro. I'm starting to find the touch pro easier than the 6800. Besides scrolling all the time to turn off the Data connection all the time.

I enjoy this site for a few months now and everyone seems to get along like family on here.

Re: GPS quick opinion?

Well I recommend Live Search, to me the search features are easier, it gives you access to traffic, movie times, weather and it can be voice activated. I just find Live Search a lot easier to use. Once you get the GPS up and working its easy, the only thing I dont like is the fact that that it doesnt allow you to choose whether or not you see the directions facing the direction you're going it always just faces north no matter what direction your heading which gets confusing...

Re: GPS quick opinion?

ok on live search I had to go into GPS settings and set the port to 0 is that correct? It seems to show me right where I live after setting it to port 0.

Thats what I thought it was easier to search local things .

Re: GPS quick opinion?

if post 0 works then it is all good, if not, use Com4, baud 4800.If you wish to have a paid gps application, you can try mapquest navigator 5.0. It is 50 bucks a year...
