Comm manager - wifi button won't turn wifi on

When I am in comm manager and turn on wifi, it starts the colored rotating wheel as if to start wifi but it does not turn on. I have to go to settings>wifi and where it says (wireless lan is off, turn on wireless lan), touch turn on and it will turn on. But it still says on the screen (wireless lan is off, turn on wireless lan) even though it is now on. Also the button on comm manager in TF3D is still off (when wireless lan is on) and when I want to shut off the wifi, I have to go to settings>connections>wirelesslan>menu>wifi>menu>tu rn off wifi.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have that exact same problem. I'm not sure how to fix it, but I found an easier way to turn WiFi on and off.

AKwifiToggle

This doesn't fix the original issue, but after using this, you won't notice the original issue.

Make sure you are not plugged in by usb to the computer. WIfi is disabled then.

Re: Comm manager - wifi button won't turn wifi on

Using a registry editor, go to HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN

Make sure that the default value is set as:

{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\TNETW12511 ... with a SINGLE \ not DOUBLE \\

I have seen multiple tweaks break that (including the original post of my Sprint Manila Blue theme, which I quickly fixed).

I've been using your blue theme for a while now. I would never have suspected that this would be the culprit.
Thanks for the tip.
I re-downloaded the Sprint Manila Blue Theme_Revised.
Working good now. Thanks!
