HTC Touch PRO running GPS Google Navigator v3.4 Satellite View
Well, finally worked the bugs out of this one and it works with pointing north always turned on. Its actually cooler than i thought it would be. I apologize in advance for the shaky camera. I think there is enough here to get an idea of its operation. The app itself is a little clunky, but is serviceable in a pinch.

i dunno what i was looking at lol
the last version of google maps i got had the pointer on screen pointing in the direction i was going. It also turned to reflect change of direction and the map stayed the same. i'd record a vide of it, but i can't ride a bike with 1 hand :P

You could use the new version of Google maps with StreetView!
It bothers me a bit that Google Navigator charges you for a service that's otherwise free.

I cannot seem to get google maps to point in the direction i am travelling.
