NEW SMS - showing 1
 

My new SMS indicator is stuck at 1. All of the messages have been deleted - however it still shows 1. When I recieve a new message it goes to 2 however in the inbox it still only has the one message. I have tried a soft rest as well as a power down. It still shows 1. All of my recieve functions are set to automatic. I have even tried toggling the different radios on and off under the comm manager. Anyone else have this problem? or know how to fix it?

Have you installed any "tweaks"? If so, Try and uninstall them and see if your problem is solved.

I actually have posted this for a friend of mine - who has not installed any "tweaks" yet .... Thank you for your suggestion.

Try going through and reading every message... Then the system will mark it read... I know tedious and boring, but best possible solution... That is my best guess... Also, what part of Michigan are you from?

Run it and it should clear your unread count.
