Sprint Pro issue. Rendering slow?
Take a look at this. This frustrates me a bit. I know the specs are good on the Pro but in some areas it seems to fall behind. Ever since I got the Pro, I noticed it wasn't as smooth as my old mogul using Opera. So I finally did a video to show what I mean. Is it just me or everyone is having this same issue. BTW.. I have flashed to almost all the roms in here and they all behave the same. I have tried the newer version Opera.. and still the same results. Take a lot and let me know what you all think. This is a Pro running a Stock Sprint rom but opera was upgraded to the newer version in which I thought it was going to some what resolve this issue but itas exactly the same but now I have a magnifying glass.

i heard that increasing your pagepool will speed up opera...but i havent tried that yet nor tried a custom rom

Speed up Opera in which manner? I have tried mostly all roms and some have a 32 pagepool.. but it still behaves this way. I bit jerky. Anyone notice this as well?

Did you see the video? I dont hjave any problems too, just its not as smooth as my older Mogul. Look at seconds between 11 and 15. That shows the issue very well.

lol.. Sorry buddy... I run a completely stock ROM, and Opera Mobile works fine for me.. It may take a sec for it to open up, but I am generally pleased with it..

Hey.. look at 11 seconds to 16 seconds. Does your opera move like the Pro on the right or the mogul on the left?

More like the one on the right... But Opera Mobile is not the fastest web browser out there... It has to do all the heavy lifting (graphics rendering and such) on the phone... It isnt server-side like Opera Mini or Skyfire... That is the self-prescribed propaganda I follow
