Cameras Panoramic Mode

Is there a way to get the camera to take multiple shots one after another without having to individual pictures for each shot?

Re: Cameras Panoramic Mode

No.. I think the effect of the panoramic shot is created by having to take the 3 separate pictures...

Re: Cameras Panoramic Mode

One note about that panoramic mode. The final product always looks funky. I can't tell if its better to pivot the phone around a single axis or rotate it around an arbitrary point behind the phone. Any thoughts?

Re: Cameras Panoramic Mode

I pivot the phone around a single axis... Try to be real steady and try matching up the ghost image to the actual background as closely as possible... I uploaded a panoramic picture I took... Obviously, one person moved.. But if nobody moves, you can take really good pics...

Generally speaking cameras should be rotated around the lens's nodal point for panoramas.

It depends whether the axis is the nodal point or not

Re: Cameras Panoramic Mode

I think it is a single axis point. I've taken a few clear panoramic images on my Mogul.

Re: Cameras Panoramic Mode

to answer the OP question... even if you could take all 3 pics at once, would you want to? the camera is bad enough to where the image gets skewed or blurry all the time, would you really want to have to worry about aligning the images on a timer?
