, thanks for your help but from my understanding on that site it tells you how to boost up your speakek in general. i dont have a problem with my speaker, only with mp3's ringtones, when then they are set as ringtones the volume works really low. if i boost up the speaker then it will blow with my factory ringers cuz it will b too loud. i just want it all leveled.

Toly1113,

Just incase you run into any particular MP3 ringtone files you need louder (I had a few when changing to the Touch Pro), I found a program called MP3Gain that is outstanding for this purpose. It is freeware and can be found at http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Re: can some one help me with my mp3 ringer volume plz????

You can also use Audaciy and turn up the volume on the slider. It will re-encode the file with a louder setting. I had to do this for a few.

Re: can some one help me with my mp3 ringer volume plz????

I usually rip .mp3's back to .wav format, then use sound recorder built in to windows to adjust volume, then re-encode. I have heard good things about audacity though, like it might even be easier to use than my method!

It is really easy actually... Open the file with audacity, move the volume slider up on the sound filed, hit Export... save, and you're done
