Re: I dropped my TP in the toilet

Tell them you lost the phone. Don't tell them it's been stolen, I have heard they could make you do the paper trail thing. Tell them you lost the phone, and everything should be fine. Good thing they are sending out new phones, looks like the turn-a-round time is getting better too.

I have to admit, I always surf and poo - these stories are making me reconsider.

Re: I dropped my TP in the toilet

phones and toilets are like super magnets to one another. and TEP does cover liquid damage. It will NOT get replaced in store however there is only a $50 deductible when claimed thru asurion under TEP

Re: I dropped my TP in the toilet (update)

So I went to two different corporate sprint center and they turn me down they can't do anything and gave me Asurion phone number.

After that I went to a local Sprint authorized retailers they do basic repairs and sales and the guy looked at my phone and said looks like something is wrong with the lcd.

I gave him my phone number long story short since I have TEP on my account they will order me new phone free of charge just have to wait 2 weeks since the phone is back ordered!

Re: I dropped my TP in the toilet (update)

Just a little tip, a quick way to get water out of the phone is to open the phone take out the battery, put the phone into a plastic bag wrap the bag around a vacuum and suck the water out. I did that when I dropped my mogul in the toilet and work perfectly after I got the water out.
