Re: Skype 2.5 On Sprint Touch Pro
Another thing to note is that this new version of Skype seems to work like the phone application itself (low volume in your ear), rather than always using speakerphone. That alone is a very nice improvement.

Re: Skype 2.5 On Sprint Touch Pro
If I have skype out min's ($10 worth) and use my TP to call a landline in Peru (after 7pm=unlimited calling), will Sprint charge me any connection fees or any money, since I'm using my cellphone line?
What if i call from my cell phone during peak hours to a landline overseas, I'm only eating up mins from my plan?, i assume... If anyone knows something about this, please let me know. |

Re: Skype 2.5 On Sprint Touch Pro
For installing 2.2 on my Diamond, the magic combo was this:
Download PocketPC version, NOT Smartphone version Download using PC/activesync connection, not the cab to the phone Install to Device, not to Internal Storage I was only able to get it to go through loudspeaker. But I heard that with Nimbuzz, it would work through the regular speaker -- www.nimbuzz.com |

Re: Skype 2.5 On Sprint Touch Pro
So if I got this right......
You can make calls from your cell phone (using skype) to any house phone/cell phone and you will never EVER use up any minutes from your current cell phone plan? Only data? Also, I have used skype to make video calls from one PC to another. Could I call a PC from my cell phone? It would be cool if, even though they couldn't see you, you could see them on your phone through streaming from their webcam as they talked to you on your cell's speakerphone. Is that possible? |

Yes, I've done that. I tried, and couldn't get that to work. |
