You're probably using the smartphone version. The TP needs the pocketpc version.

Not sure about 2.5, but 2.2 works FLAWLESSLY with a A2DP stereo headset with mic, quite amazing quality actually. To me it's superior to the sound through the sprint radio (especially when the HTC sounds like it's a half-duplex speaker phone and you can't hear snippets of what the other person is saying cuz the darn thing squelches). Anyone else notice this?

I did not have the stereo bluetooth .... yet

but I was wondering about the regular hands free one!
BTW which one do you use?

I called my bro tonight on Skype to his cell and he was in Baghdad. The normal delay from a long distance call but it worked.

Do a google search for BT Audio by Blade2032. This app makes all sounds from your ppc come thru your bluetooth. Once installed all that you have to do is pair your bluetooth device(any device) run BT Audio and set status to "on" and then run Skype with BT Audio running in the background. This is a must have app if you like watching streaming media through Skyfire and want to hear the sound via your bluetooth headset.

Ok I downloaded skype and I paid for unlimited monthly minutes but on skype on my touch pro, it doesnt give me the option to call a us number, or any number for that matter. the call button is grayed out, any ideas?

I restarted everything and I dont know why it isnt working. I was able to make it work the very first time, and it made a call out, just now it is grayed out. no fun.

Try this...

put in +19876543210 in the number field. The + is entered by pressing 0 for a second or so.

I did do that, it just doesnt let me call out? I think because on the home page it says my accoutn is inactive? but I bouight a monthly thing for skype, do i have to buy a different one for mobile use on the touch than a plan for my pc? this is annoying i just want it to work
