Exclamation Aux on TP-mic disabled?

Yesterday, I connected my TP per AUX to my cd player; I can hear people just fine but they can't hear me. Is it because it disables the mic and may only be used as a headset/headphone ?

Is it just my TP or has it always been like this ?

Is there a reg edit for it ? Am I just retarded- or did the Mogul did this also?

Wow that's alot of questions sorry, thanks in advanced (I did consult Dr.Google),

Re: Aux on TP-mic disabled?

Correct. Since your cd player is not equipped with a microphone, the conversation is only heard one way. The only way to make the full loop is by using an accessory with a microphone, and your headset is one of them. Now, if your car is comes with factory bluetooth with ad2p profile, that's another story. Hope this answers your question.
