Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

Is anyone else frustrated with the way you have to turn off the alarm when you set it in clock/alarms? I don't get the notice at the bottom of the screen anymore instead I have to click a small alarm bell in top menu wich opens a window that lets me turn off the alarm. Did I miss something or is there a fix, this really irritates me.

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

Not only that, but I have two alarms set the same way, just different times. One alarms continuously like it should, while the other just alarms for about 2 seconds and stops. The same settings, same alert sound. Starting to piss me off. I tried G-Alarm before, but that didn't work like it was supposed to either.

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

I use SPB Time, that gives me a big basically full screen popup to turn off the alarm.

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

same issue here with the alarm. Its quite annoying especially when your droggy from sleeping. Trying to finger that little icon on top... Jesh. Woke my wife and baby up this morning trying to turn the damn thing off.

You should be able to hit any key or button to turn the stupid alarm off IMO. Like most phones.

Make sure that you have Display message on screen set for Reminders in the device Sounds & Notification settings.

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

I definitely feel the same as you guys. I'm not pleased with the alarm at all in the TP. I've since switched to the G-Alarm with the old_default skin and I'm o.k. with that.

I'd like to know if there's way to hack the registry into doing the following, so we don't need to run a 3rd party Alarm program (this isn't real, it was done it photoshop):

I'm no hacker, but I'm willing to learn if someone can tell me if this little app is even possible. Sorry about the size of the picts, I'll shrink them as soon as I get home.

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

that's so odd g-alarm doesn't work for you guys. It works great for me. I know it starts up with the system in the startup folder, and I also set it to NOT do the maze for snooze. I've got two alarms, mon-fri alarm, and sat and sun alarm.

What exactly doesn't work? Does it not play the alarm sound? Does it not pop up?

Re: Alarm in TF3D not user friendly

I actually like G-Alarm, a lot.
I came up with the tweak idea before I discovered G-Alarm. But once I saw this post, I decided to go ahead and post my idea in case someone wanted to run with it.
