Please Sticky XweaponX's Battery Cover Thread

Thanks a lot for sharing your dying method with us...I just died my battery cover yesterday and I'm in love...little by little, I'm starting to come to terms with all the things I dont like about this phone. This thread has 2 purposes:

1.) To thank XweaponX - thanks bro

2.) Now that his thread has been clsoed, I would like to request the mods to sticky it. His thread helped me A LOT and god knows how many other people. The contributions made by him and other members via pictures, tips, and directions are invaluable. PLEASE STICKY THAT THREAD! Im sure it will be of help to many new Touch Pro owners.

x2 on the sticky. i keep lookin around for other ppcgeeks that may have a dyed back.. although i'm having enough trouble finding ppl with a TP in the first place..

I third the motion. Of course, the mods need to clean up some of the flames that prompted the thread closure in the first place. Plenty of props to everyone who participated in the thread and shared their experiences and results. I took the plunge and did it for myself last night with great results. I had some interesting observations, tips and photos to share regarding my own process, which followed cforster's instructions but to my dismay the thread was closed before I could post!

I think they should've simply cleaned up the thread rather than closing it. Closing is easy, but that thread was valuable to many users here. Why let a couple of bad apples spoil the bunch? There was definitely more information to be had... (dyeing designs, masking techniques, information on places that had extra covers, etc). I think the mods need to do more than just close threads.

I agree 100%, but I felt like asking them to sticky the thread was more realistic than asking for it to be re-opened.

I will add it to the FAQ but I will not reopen the thread at this time. This question has been answered so I will close this thread if you have any issues with my decisions feel free to PM me.

Added to the FAQ and included a picture I will edit out the sad mess that caused me to close the thread. I agree that there is a lot of good information in that thread the thread may very well be opened at some point but not until people have had time to cool off. I hope this is enough information on this topic to put everyone's mind at ease if it is not please PM me and we can discuss your individual issues. Please do not open any more threads like this one or i will be forced to close them as well.
