yea, its not picking up the internet gps for some reason. did you do anything in the "external gps" settings on the Touch Pro? like change COM port or anything of that sort?

OK... I have a question. I have Garmin XT, but have a question. Had it on my Mogul... looked great. Now have it on my TP, but... the vehicle is VERY small... can barely see it. Way smaller than it was on the Mogul... suggestions as to making it bigger?

How about lag? Anyone notice a little lag on the TP?

what version of garmin xt are you trying to use? i have 5.00.20 installed on my TP and it works great. to get it to see the gps reciever you hit cancel or skip when it searches for a bluetooth receiver and then go to Tools=>Settings=>System=>Remote GPS it should say COM4:COM4:

I am not sure about the small view(probably a resolution thing) I use garmin xt on my pro and it looks fine. As far as the lag goes lots of discussion on this here are a couple threads on it there are more.

Yeah im not sure why the vehicle is too small..but im using it and it looks fine to me.

ill have to try to get this working again...cause it didnt want to for me all though i mught use tom tom.....since it supports tts

The car just looks really small... especially comparing it to when I had it on the Mogul. Are you, by chance, coming from the Mogul?

the only place in the app I found, that might be able to adjust was under "settings", then maps, then auto zoom... but that's not it either.

The car is small becasue the resolution is much higher on the TP.

Which version of GarminXT are you using?

The only versions of GarminXT that support the internal GPS are the ones that come on the SD card. It won't work correctly without the SD card it came on, even if you copy it over to another. If you installed it via CD or whatever, those versions require a Garmin branded GPS receiver.
