Punctuation correction?
 

I notice that the punctuation correction isn't quite what it used to be with my 6700 ... particularly "I'm" ... I used to be able to type Im and when I hit space it would punctuate properly. Some of the other contractions work though, like they're.

I tried the "old school correction" cab, but it didn't change. Is there something else I can do?

How do you even get that? I have suggest words off and typing correction on and I type theyre and it doesn't correct anything. I also have capitalize first letter on and it doesnt do that.

Id love that feature.

This article should cover it. I had the same exact question. It's a little detail oriented, but it works perfectly on my TP. Especially check out the end of the article.

bgatoruf, thanks and that's all well and good, but what is the "typing correction" option supposed to do? It's there in the default rom screens, shouldn't it do something?

If the OP minds me replying here, I can start my own thread and I apologize. Figured we were in a similar boat.
