HTC touch PRO Memory .......

OK i use a program called metrix (freeware)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=452107

it gives u icons and tells u how much memory u have on device and or RAM and u can also add the SD card to setup ... u can also set it up so that when u tap on your storage memory icon .. it takes u to remove programs in settings for example .. u can customize away....

now on to the thread topic...

i was wondering what people are running currently STORAGE memory and RAM on thier device....

i have 114.4M left in ram (device 203.2MB, used 89.2MB)
i have 199.6M left in storage memory (device 328.1MB, USED 128.60MB)

there are tons of programs... u can use to determine this info .. i have another icon under programs called system info which gives u nice info and % ... i think it is either part of resco explorer or sdkTools ... i have it linked to launch when i click on ram icon in metrix

I personally don't even bother paying attention. I don't even care about ram usage, because who cares how much is being used if stuff works. This isn't the mogul, you don't have to stare at your RAM usage to make sure your apps will run right.

You have almost double the total ram from the titan that is sitting empty, idle, wasted. That's more than enough for whatever you can throw at it I dare say.

I agree. I was so used to staring at my ram usage all day and checking and re-checking to make sure I wasnt running low. I've had the TP over a month and not once have I dropped low enough to even notice, Its odd because I still look once and awhile just because I pretty much made it a habit to look with the Mogul.

Glad to know I'm not crazy for still doing it.

Re: HTC touch PRO Memory .......

I think we old Mogul users are going through Lack of Memory syndrome- kind of like PTSD...

I still have a memory manager link in my program start up so I can quickly check the remaining memory to see how much is left and still try to close any running programs when I exit. Certain habits die hard...
