Sprint Touch by HTC's On-Screen Keyboard Doesn't Transmit Any Characters in LogMeIn F

Sorry if this is in the wrong board, but I didn't see a post about the first (old) Sprint HTC Touch, so I posted it here.

I used to have the Sprint PPC-6700 Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5 and it would connect to my desktop using Logmein FREE with no problems and I could use that phone's QWERTY keyboard to actually type on the remotely accessed desktop.

However, now, since I upgraded to the Sprint Touch, made by HTC, I can still access my desktop through LogMeIn FREE. However, the Touch has no slide out QWERTY keyboard. It only has an on screen keyboard for input. This on screen keyboard does not transmit any characters whatsoever through to the remotely accessed machine in a LogMeIn session on it. This phone is Windows Mobile 6.

Is there a fix to this? Is it due to the on screen keyboard and the absence of a slide out QWERTY?

There is a fix for this problem. Its used to change the input method to IME. After you install it can be found in your games folder. Get the cab here from Xda: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...81&postcount=5
