Is my HTC Touch Pro Bricked?
I purchased a Sprint HTC Touch Pro off Ebay that had a bad ESN. I was intending to activate it on Cricket. Well finally got it today and it does not seem to be working. It will not power on when not hooked up to the power cord, and when hooked up to the power cord it will go into a loop.

You hit the power button and it vibrates, comes up with the HTC Touch Pro logo, then powers down and repeats. I am pretty sure it is bricked and I am going to have to return it to the seller as they only said it had a bad esn on Sprint. Just wanted to double check if there was anything I could do instead of having to go through that hassle.

Place device in bootloader mode by holding vol down power and reset and u will see a multicolored screen then flash the carrier ROM u need from here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42741

when I do the volume down it brings up a rainbow colored screen, thats normal correct?
