Sorting the contact list...
 

I have been searching for EVER and I can't believe out of the 1,000 phones I've had in my lifetime, the most advanced one that I buy, (Touch Pro), does not have a "Sort contacts alphabetically by FIRST NAME"

I have a lot of contacts with first and last name, and a lot of just first names as well, and when you alphabetize by the last name, it just sucks.

Is there a option I'm missing? Or a .cab to fix this?

Sorry if it's in plain view, but I certainly can not find it.

Lol, go figure. As soon I click "post" I realized what the "File As..." feature is for now. I just never looked at "File As" with a first and last name, so I thought it was useless.

NEVERMIND! Sorry for the dumb post. This can be deleted for cleanup by a moderator if necessary.

yea but that still sucks cuz you have to go through each contact to do that right?

Yes, omg. I'm doing it now and it's annoying. But whatever, you win some, you lose some.

Just wish I would have seen that feature as I was MAKING my contact list back when I bought it originally.

I thought "File As" meant I can make "First Name Last Name" (like your mom) say just "Mom" in the list, but still be filed with first and last name in the contact info.

And when it didn't let me do that, I figured it was useless...

Now anyone else who might have gone a month like I did with a retarded looking contact list knows how to fix it. ;)
