Can the volume level be remembered after soft reset?

On my i760 the device would remember the volume level if I soft reset. Anyone know how to accomplish this with the TP?

hmmm, not mine. It always resets to 80% for both system and ring. Maybe it is a Phone Alarm bug? I will do some more experimenting.
