How do you turn off touch screen keyboard?!?!?!
 

I want to disable my onscreen keyboard, because it pops up even with the slide out keyboard already out....very annoying, i checked through options under input and text messages...and even options under the pop up key board....if any1 can help...it would be greatly appreciated....thank you in advance...

I haven't tested it on this phone, but odds are it'll do the trick. Set it as your default software keyboard, and that way whenever something makes the keyboard pop up, it uses this one, which doesn't actually do anything.

Or you can install Advanced Configuration and among a lot of the tweaks one is disable keyboard popup. I hated it too, now it doesn't pop-up. Should already just be an option on any phone with a keyboard..

i loaded nullkb to mine and everytime the phone goes to sleep it goes back to its default setting, weird... :( but if someone has a fix for that i would be happy to find out, i do have advanced config on mine and have it set to not deploy but it still does... i dont know if somehow the nullkb and advanced config both being on could cause them to disable each other? idk... any suggestions?

There is an option in Advanced Config, however it does not work as I have it disabled.

I have tried nullkb also to no avail.

No2Chem nueSlidingKB fixed that for me. Once in a while with a certain app or site the keyboard pops up when you slide it open but for the most part it worked for me.

I installed Diamond Tweak http://freewareppc.com/utilities/diamondtweak.shtml after install on phone go to Programs--Diamond Tweaks--and then scroll down to 20. Keyboard and you will see Automatic display (popup) then select disable. Easiest thing for me
