Different Volume level per event/sound

I have searched everywhere and either I am not searching correctly or nothing exists for Windows Mobile devices to set specific volumes for each sound event. Maybe someone knows of a program that I am missing...that is freeware?

Basically I am looking for a way to lower some sounds such as sliding keyboard sound and or email and texting sound without turning them off and without lowering other sound volumes like ring tones. I know the phone already supports this in a limited way by adjusting between system and ringer but I am looking for something a little more specific so I can change it for individual sounds/events.

Windows Mobile doesn't support this. This was a wonderful addition to Windows Vista, but I've personally never seen it outside of Vista (although I'm sure a Linux user will tell me they've had it since 1943). I'm sure it's well beyond the purview of a phone at this point.

That said, I would love to see it. It hadn't crossed my mind, but it would be a killer feature. Some of the sounds are nice to have... but I definitely don't need them as loud as others.

You could edit the wav / mp3 file that is used for each event to have different loudness relative to each other. For example if you want the keyboard sound low, just make it less loud than say, the SMS received sound.

Yes, thats an alternative but doesn't allow for adjustment up or down still on the fly. Plus that alters the sound file it's self and would rather not do that.
