opening opera from email links

Maybe I'm overlooking a simple solution but is there a way to make opera the default browser when I'm reading an e-mail and click on a link? I've combed through the settings and dont see anything, someone help please!

Not for me.. Out the box Opera opens up thru the email links. Then I did alot of tweakign and upgrading Opera and adding PIE Plus and a few other things.. and now PIE opens up. Could have been pie plus installation thou. I dont know. I wil HR soon.

Reinstall Opera. There's a CAB for it in the Windows folder. I don't remember the exact file name now off-hand, but I think it's the last CAB in the folder (sort by file type). When you reinstall all of your settings will remain intact, but it'll reset it as the default browser.

Ah you beat me to it turboFool lol.

I had this problem after installing skyfire. It wanted to be my default browser, but when I unchecked it went to PIE as default.

Anyhoo, the file name turboFool mentioned will fix the problem. It will say its unable to uninstall opera but just click through that and let it install...

yup, that worked.just dig in your windows folder and look for wm6 ppc htc opera wwe
