Looking for Car Charger

Looks like I can pickup a generic car charger from eBay for about $4 shipped or an OEM charger from NewEgg for $13 plus $4 shipped. Any thoughts on the eBay chargers? I don't want to risk damaging my phone or its battery.

Re: Looking for Car Charger

Or you can go to target and get one for about $15. I use those.

Re: Looking for Car Charger

I bought the charger off ebay, and it works like a charm. No problems here.

Re: Looking for Car Charger

ebay chargers arent bad quality at all.. they are just cheaper.. usually what it is, employees buy them from the stores with their discounts and try to resell them on ebay to make an extra buck or two.. yeah, it seems pointless but when you sell like 20 of them a day it starts to make a nice extra profit. case an point.. get the ebay charger

Re: Looking for Car Charger

I went to Menards and saw some generic mini-usb chargers right by the check out line for $6.99.

Re: Looking for Car Charger

I would suggest buying a a standard cigarette lighter socket to USB adapter with a 1.0 AMP rating. A lot of the really cheap chargers are limited to only 0.5 AMPs. The 1.0 AMP does make a difference in charging times.

Re: Looking for Car Charger

The HTC branded car charger that's available at Newegg actually puts out 2amps, so IMO, that would be the best charger to get.
